Mes Pensées– Thoughts from Pastor Paul

Greetings Dear Friends,

We are living in challenging times, unchartered waters with most of what we’re experiencing barely recognizable. For many things are not working as planned; almost all are are strained as we together face the uncertainties of “what’s next”.

It would be very easy in these uncertain times to allow fear to grip our hearts, but listen:

God is still on the throne, and He promises to help us navigate every step of the way.

Psalms 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

I had an impression this week that was centered on the concept of “sheltering in place”.

The thought of “sheltering in place “can be unsettling but consider

“sheltering in place under the shadow of His Wing”?

That changes everything doesn’t it?

Under the shadow of his wing we find protection

Under the shadow of his wing we find peace and safety

Under the shadow of his wing we have all we need

I love the way Psalms 91:4 is presented in the New Living translation:

“He will shelter you with His wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.”

Shalom,

Pastor Paul
